Rosemary is often referred to as the Wonder Herb!

Rosemary, known in Latin as ‘Rosmarinus’, roughly meaning ‘sea dew’. It is often referred to as the ‘wonder herb’, and for good reason. In ancient cultures it was used for boosting memory, which has also been backed up in modern science. It is said that the herb has properties similar to western medicine to treat dementia, as it helps increase a neurotransmitter called ‘acetylecholine’.


Daily consumption of Rosemary may help in many ailments associated with old age. Also it contains carnosol,which has been found to be a potent anti-cancer compound.
Rosemary oil is beneficial too, and is used in many Ayurvedic preparations for headaches, stomach upset, insect bites, skin problems like eczema and skin infections.
